Access to all the features found in the Open Learning plan
GiiLD is all about community. GiiLD's "Command Center", found in all our plans (except OL), creates a work "space" where you have access to other learners through Chat, Forum, Journal Entries, and Pathways. You are always just one click from information that will help you complete your Challenge. Each Challenge has its own Command Center, so you know that everyone is working on the same problem - often times online at the same time!
Benefits of Collaborative Learning
Learn From Others
Collaborative Learning is all about community. Users from all over the world will help you - and you will help them sometimes. Because everyone is in some way a mentor; everyone is in some way a teacher.
Faster is Better
Sometimes learning can't wait. Sometimes you simply need to learn something quickly. GiiLD's Collaborative Learning platform will help you learn FAST!
Good Habits
By collaborating with others you will see the value in being good to the community of learners. You will learn how to be better at journaling and tasking. If you want to get into a good school or a top company, you will need good habits.
How does it work
1
Choose a Challenge
GiiLD Challenges provide a personalized, safe place to LEARN the skills you want.
Command Center
2
The GiiLD Command Center is very easy to use and will help you collaborate with other users. And since each Command Center is specific to the Challenge you are working on, you are all trying to solve the same problems.
3
Jump Around
The Command Center puts you one click away from all important assets that will help you complete your Challenge. THIS is a major differentiator from Open Learning.
4
Share
Share your code and Pathway with
others. You will upload a final version of your code and finish documenting your pathway. By making your Pathway "beautiful" you are giving back to the community.
